While in Lowell, you will have the opportunity to experience the city’s historic textile history. You will visit a working mill to see historical looms and fabric being made before your eyes. Tour a boarding house bringing you back in time to the life of a textile mill worker in the Colonial days.

Join us for this leaf peeping fashion tour. See the spectacular foliage of the Berkshire area while traveling to Ventfort Hall in Lenox MA, famous from the Academy Award-winning film The Cider House Rules. Explore this spectacular mansion, enjoy a gourmet picnic on the Verandah overlooking the fabulous grounds and enjoy a lecture by fashion designer John R. Burbidge creator of the Les Petites Dames de Mode; a collection of miniature fashion models. After the lecture we will view his exhibit of 60 of these “Little Ladies” exquisitely dressed in detailed fashions from the Gilded Age.
